Dr. Bernard E. Douda - Young Scientist Award 2025
A special award will be presented during the seminar to a young scientist of exceptional promise in an area of interest of the seminar. The 2024 Dr. Bernard E. Douda – Young Scientist Award for Pyrotechnics Investigators is financed from the fund established by the International Pyrotechnics Society. The award will pay for the 47th IPSUSA Seminar Registration fee and a 2-year paid IPS membership. To be eligible for the award, the applicant must be under 40 years of age at the time of the submission deadline (April 1st 2025), must not be an officer or past officer of the IPS or IPSUSA. The applicant must submit a full paper with cover letter explaining the importance of the work being presented, along with a curriculum vitae and must attend and present the paper at the 48th IPS Seminar. Applicants will be notified of the decision by May 5th 2025.
