WELCOME

Dear Colleagues,

the specific anatomy with its spatial limitations and the close topographic vicinity to vital structures explains the special status of the orbit and its pathology within ophthalmology. Newly described clinical entities, improved diagnostic and therapeutic approaches and refined surgical techniques require constant updating and interdisciplinary discussion.

We cordially invite you to our 10th ORBITA SYMPOSIUM MUNICH 2021 – this year for known reasons - organized as an online webinar on November 26/27th, 2021.

Diagnostics and imaging, inflammation of the orbit - with a focus on Graves´ orbitopathy - as well as orbital lesions are on our agenda. Renowned specialists from ophthalmology, radiology, endocrinology and ENT will focus on defined orbital issues.
The symposium addresses young and advanced colleagues of all involved disciplines. There will be time for Q&A and interactive discussions, and case presentations.

All members of our service of Plastic-reconstructive Eyelid and Orbital Surgery at the LMU Eye Hospital are looking forward to your participation and wish you an interesting symposium with stimulating discussions.
