About Munich
If you would like to get out and enjoy the city while attending the symposium,
our team recommends some of the lesser-known spots in Munich, beyond the
usual landmarks such as Marienplatz, the “Frauenkirche” or the “Hofbräuhaus”.

The Chinese Tower in Munich's English Garden is a famous tourist attraction and a symbol of Bavarian tradition.
Built in 1790, the 25-meter-high wooden pagoda was inspired by Chinese architecture and is surrounded by one
of the largest and most popular beer gardens in the city. Visitors can relax under ancient chestnut trees and enjoy
traditional Bavarian dishes, and drink fresh beer oder "Glühwein" at the Christmasmarket.
