If you would like to get out and enjoy the city while attending the GENFI summer meeting, our team recommends some of the lesser-known spots in Munich, beyond the usual landmarks such as Marienplatz, the “Frauenkirche” or the “Hofbräuhaus”.

The Chinese Tower in Munich's English Garden is a famous tourist attraction and a symbol of Bavarian tradition.
Built in 1790, the 25-meter-high wooden pagoda was inspired by Chinese architecture and is surrounded by one of the largest and most popular beer gardens in the city. Visitors can relax under ancient chestnut trees, enjoy traditional Bavarian dishes, and drink fresh beer.

The ”Alte Utting” is a unique venue in Munich, housed in a repurposed boat that now serves as a vibrant cultural hub.
